KUALA LUMPUR: The Ekpres Sinaran Selatan No. 13 (Sentral KL-Woodlands) and Shuttle No. 61 (Gemas- Woodlands) train services remain cancelled as to repair the tracks following a derailment in Johor are expected to be completed only on Thursday, Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) said Sunday.
It said the repairs were being carried out at Km738 near Taman Impian Emas in Skudai after four of the 10 coaches of the Ekpres Sinaran Selatan No. 13 jumped the tracks Saturday, injuring five passengers and a KTMB employee.
KTMB said that other train services to Woodlands would terminate at the Kulai station and the passengers would be transported in buses to the Kempas Baru station for the onward journey to JB Sentral and Woodlands by shuttle train.
It advised the people to contact the KTMB Customer Service Centre at 1-300-88-5862 for information. - Bernama
