OUR COOPERATION IS ENOUGH




KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) youth wings has pledge that the youths will double up the effort to explain to the people of Sabah the party vision and mission by advocating on the ground and emphasized more towards the SAPP Manifesto which has been launched Jun last year.

KK Coordinator Youth Zone Chief, John Stephen in his remark during the election briefing held at Maju Centre, Inanam yesterday said SAPP being a component of Barisan Nasional before on 17th September 2008, SAPP has outlined 8 demands in the interest of Sabah wellbeing to be fulfilled and sadly the Federal Government has been passively responding to the problem encountered by Sabahan.
As a result, SAPP decided to pull out from the coalition of Barisan Nasional and continue to struggle as an opposition to demand a better live hood of every Sabahan where the states has been bogged by illegal immigrants, youth unemployment, rising of good price, unbalance of development, land grab, and etc.

Autonomy is one of the 8 demands that attracted the young people nowadays to fight along with SAPP. Therefore, SAPP must in principal to uphold the promises as the only local party and entitled to contest in the majority state seats in order to achieve autonomous state and reinstate the Malaysia Agreement 1963 signed by Malaya, Sabah and Sarawak.

John Stephen also the Nasional Youth Exco, stressing to the party leadership not to bow down by the continuous pressure from the other political opposition to join any coalition or agendas as cooperation is enough to topple the corrupted Barisan Nasional.

Reiterating further, the KK youth machineries is ever ready to contest the 4 Kota Kinabalu Parliaments comprises of 8 state seats if compromise is fail to materialized. Nonetheless, the youth will abide by the party leadership decision. The youth members also have expressed their strong solidarity support behind the party.

Also present during the briefing are Vice - Exco Nasional Youth Chief Simon Chin, Karambunai Youth Chief Suffian Saprin, Inanam Youth Chief Joseph Tadius, Likas Youth Chief Woo Chun Vun, Luyang Youth Chief Yong Yit Yoong, Tanjung Aru Youth Chief Lum Kong Fui, Kepayan Youth Chief Lim Kat Chung, Moyog Youth Chief Freddy Bycan and Api – Api Vice Youth Chief Charles Yong.
