PKR denies links to video of senior opposition leader

PKR has today described suggestions made by several bloggers linking its members to the release of the latest sex video as absurd and baseless accusations.

Party vice-president N Surendran said the allegation was made by a convicted criminal (blogger Papagomo) and he wanted the public not to believe such allegations made by such bloggers.

“PKR is united in this coalition. We are united to defeat the oppressed and corrupt BN regime,” he said.

NONESurendran (left in photo) described PKR’s relations with other Pakatan Rakyat party component as cordial.

“In fact, we have been more united than we have ever been in the past in a common cause to depose BN,” he said.

PKR supreme council member Latheefa Koya said they know who has the track record of releasing such dubious videos.

In a related development, party Youth chief Shamsul Iskandar Mohd Akin described the move to link the release of the video with PKR as gutter politics.

“The motive of the release of the video is clear. It is an attempt to break the relationship of AMK (PKR Youth) and PAS. To the PAS leader, if they can assassinate the character of Anwar Ibrahim, what more other leaders.

“We do not believe the person in the video is the PAS leader,” he said.

Several bloggers have linked PKR Youth with distributing the said videos to several houses in the Besut, Terengganu area.

Pro-Umno blogger Papagomo had even suggested that the purported lady in the video was paid by PKR.
