REALLY? Opposition irresponsible in accusing BN of planning chaos - Hisham

KLUANG-Claims by opposition party leaders that Barisan Nasional (BN) is planning to create chaos in the country during the election period is irresponsible, said Home Minister Datuk Seri Hishamuddin Hussein.

“When they claim that BN is planning to create chaos, it is actually they themselves who are planning such things. It never cross our (BN leaders’) mind to do as what they claimed,” he said.

Hishammuddin was commenting on a claim by Pas vice-president Sallehuddin Ayub that BN is raising the spectra of the May 13 racial riots during his campaign round in Bandar Baru Uda, Johor Baru on Saturday night.

“This is their (the opposition’s) fixed mindset of blaming Umno and BN to cause fear among the populace as the coming 13th general elections is seen as an election without limits to garner support.

“I am not saying that all of them (opposition leaders) are like that, but a handful of them will sacrifice their religion, country and race for support,” he said after visiting the Chamek district polling centre here today.
