Slow traffic flow towards north

KUALA LUMPUR, May 24 — South bound traffic along North-South Expressway (Plus) was reported smooth while north bound traffic was reported to be slow.
A Plus Expressways Bhd traffic control centre spokesman said north bound traffic was slow from Menora Tunnel to Kuala Kangsar and from Slim River to Sungkai.
Plus Twitter reported an accident at Km 352.9 from Sungkai to Bidor at 4.48pm and at Km 374 from Behrang to Slim River at 4.52pm.
A Malaysian Highway Authority (MHA) spokesman reported smooth traffic along the East Coast Expressway (ECE).
It reported slow traffic from Gombak Toll Plaza heading to Genting Sempah.
There were no reported accidents along the highway.
Motorists have been urged to follow the PLUS Travel Time Advisory in conjunction with Wesak Day and the school holidays from May 23 to June 9.

Before 12pm - from Klang Valley to Perlis, Kedah and Penang and Johor via Skudai, Senai Utama, Ayer Hitam, Yong Peng and Tangkak.
12pm to 3pm - from Klang Valley to north Perak via Kuala Kangsar, Changkat Jering and Taiping and from Melaka via Jasin and Ayer Keroh.
3pm to 6pm - from Klang Valley to central Perak via Ipoh, Simpang Pulai and Gopeng and from Melaka via Simpang Ampat.
After 6pm - from Klang Valley to south Perak via Tapah, Bidor, Slim River and Tanjung Malim and from Negeri Sembilan via Senawang, Port Dickson and Seremban.

Vehicles with registration plates ending with odd numbers are advised to use the Johor Causeway, Second Link and the Penang Bridge at odd hours.
Similarly, vehicles with registration plates ending with even numbers are advised to travel at even hours.
For free travel from the Klang Valley, motorists are advised to travel before 9am and after 10pm.

9am to 11am, 6pm to 8pm - from Perlis, Kedah, Penang, north Perak, Johor and Melaka (via Simpang Ampat).
2pm to 5pm, after 10pm - from north Perak, south Perak, Melaka (via Jasin and Ayer Keroh) and Negeri Sembilan.

All travel from north and south via the Johor Causeway, Second Link and Penang Bridge for vehicles with odd number plates at odd hours and vehicles with even plates at even hours.
For free travel to the Klang Valley, the motorists are advised to travel before 9am.
