The Express Rail Link’s (ERL) KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit train services are experiencing temporary disruption due to failure of the overhead catenary line between the KL Sentral and Bandar Tasik Selatan stations today.
The incident was reported about 10am today, said ERL Sdn Bhd Marketing and Business Development Management deputy vice-president Sheila Shamsudin, in a statement today.
"The cause of the failure is being investigated," she said, adding that the ERL services are scheduled to resume by 8pm today.
Meanwhile, a woman who asked to be identified only as Rosma, said she arrived at KL Sentral at about noon to take the ERL to KLIA for her flight to Kota Bahru and had been informed that the train service was disrupted.
"Many other passengers also do not know about this and some of them missed their flights," she added.
