This rewards, that rewards!

Its getting infinite. Just because a Malay NGO offered a RM1,200 reward to those with 'big balls' to slap DAP-Seputeh MP Teresa Kok last week, it was made as a precedent by others.

On Tuesday, another Malay youth NGO questioned Home Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi for the 'no action against police reports against Teresa' - what if someone makes a lucrative offer to shave Rosmah Mansor bald?

And yesterday, MIC Youth chief C Sivarrajh also made another offer.

PETALING JAYA: A RM10,000 (RM5,000 initially) reward awaits anyone who can help MIC Youth identify and locate a Facebook user who referred those who went to Batu Caves during Thaipusam as “syaitan”, an Arabic-derived Malay word that means “evil spirits” or “demons”.
The Facebook user, calling himself Man Namblast, made the derogatory remark in a comment on the recent Thaipusam festival at Batu Caves.
MIC Youth chief C Sivarraajh made the offer today after what he said was a disappointing meeting with officials of the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).
He said the commission had failed to track down Man Namblast, who on Jan 17 posted a picture on his Facebook page with a caption that read: “Berpuluh ribu syaitan sedang berarak menaiki tangga Bt Caves,” which translates as “Tens of thousands of demons are marching up the stairs at Batu Caves.”
The Facebook page has been deactivated, but a screen shot of the posting has gone viral across social networks.
Sivarraajh said the reward was also for anyone who could provide information on the whereabouts of another Facebook user, Mohamed Hidayat for allegedly posting seditious remarks about Thaipusam in January.

Not to belittle the police and MCMC, the suspect was 'easily' nabbed at his house in Batu Caves a few hours later, and the reward could have played a part in it.

Someone was driven by the reward and leaked who the person it to the police. Could it be his best friend?

KUALA LUMPUR: Facebook user Man Nambalast who allegedly posted seditious remarks about Thaipusam in January was remanded for four days from yesterday.
Gombak police chief ACP Abdul Rahim Abdullah said the 35-year-old teacher of a secondary school in Segambut was arrested at his house in Batu Caves at about 12.30pm yesterday.
He said following the arrest, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission seized a central processing unit and a modem from his house.
The suspect is in the custody of the Gombak Police District Headquarters for investigations under Section 4 (1) of the Sedition Act 1948, he said when contacted.

Do not the treat the reward thing as a farce. As Malaysia's politics get filthier, anything can happen. Sooner or later, they could be rewards to kill a politician... and even to assassinate the Prime Minister!

If this is the new political culture we are subscribing, the whole nation will be incinerated within the next few years!

Meanwhile, a 27-year old woman was arrested at her house in Sungai Jelok, Kajang for posting offensive remarks against the Sultan of Selangor.

Selangor police confirmed the arrest of the woman through the police Facebook which was uploaded an hour ago saying the woman had been arrested in Sungai Jelok, Kajang.
According to the police several equipment were also seized to facilitate investigations while investigations would be carried out under Section 4 (1) of the Sedition Act 1948.
In the Facebook posting, the woman had allegedly insulted the Sultan openly.
