'MAHATHIR ORDERED AMBANK CHIEF AZMAN HASHIM TO BETRAY NAJIB' - pro Najib group

KUALA LUMPUR - The details of PM Najib Razak’s Ambank banking accounts were leaked by a senior official in Ambank working under instructions from the bank’s chairman Tan Sri Azman Hashim, who is a close friend and confidant of former PM Tun Dr.Mahathir Mohamad.

Azman owes his success to Mahathir and in return, Ambank has disbursed loans amounting to more than RM250 million to companies linked to Mirzan and Mokhzani Mahathir.

It is a known fact that Azman often goes horse riding with Mahathir and plays an important role in managing Mahathir’s money in Malaysia and throughout the world.

Mahathir has moved millions to Argentina for investment purposes using the help of Azman Hashim in 2002 and 2003.

CAGM can confirm, based on court documents in our hands, that millions from Najib’s Ambank accounts were actually used to ‘back up’ Barisan Nasional (BN) component parties in the run up to the 2013 General Elections.

The parties include UMNO, MCA, MIC, PBB, SUPP, GERAKAN, PPP, LDP, PBRS, UPKO, PBS, SPDP and PRS.

Funds were also channeled to more than a dozen BN-friendly parties and NGOs.

An average of RM30m to RM50m were allocated to each component parties while the others received anything between RM1m to RM8m each.

This system of ‘greasing’ the component parties and election machineries (in some cases, mercenaries) were actually put in place by Mahathir and that has allowed BN to remain power until now.

So in essence, Najib was ‘paying’ to system that was put in motion by Mahathir to ensure the results are in favor of BN.

The harder a victory in the elections appear to be, the more money it requires to secure a win and the 2013 General Election was a very high-risk affair for BN after all.

But Mahathir and Azman Hashim, in their hurry to remove Najib from office, have exposed a strictly confidential and integral link that has played a pivotal role that helps Umno and BN remain in power.

Mahathir should not forget that Najib has to feed the mouths that came into existence only because he created them during his 22 years of iron-fisted rule.
