KUALA LUMPUR - Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) investigation division director Datuk Mohd Jamidan Abdullah has been named the agency’s new deputy commissioner (Management and Professionalism).
Jamidan,57, had replaced Datuk Seri Zakaria Jaffar effective August 1.
The MACC, in a statement, said 58-year-old Zakaria was due to officially retire on October 12 this year.
It said Jamidan had served with the MACC for some 32 years and his previous post would be filled by Datuk Mohd Azam Baki, 52, who was previously its intelligence director.
“The MACC extends its gratitude and appreciation to Datuk Seri Zakaria for his contributions during his service which had stretched more than three decades,” the MACC said. - Therakyatpost
