BLACK DAY FOR MALAYSIA WHEN MACC IS FORCED TO BOW & LIE FOR NAJIB

BLACK DAY FOR M'SIA WHEN MACC IS FORCED TO BOW & LIE FOR NAJIB
The dignity and professionalism of MACC is now dead and beyond cure after their statement that RM2.6 billion which was deposited into the prime minister's accounts is the contribution of donors.
Yes, Barisan Nasional strategic communications director Abdul Rahman Dahlan told us that Umno’s party constitution provides for the party president to have a trust account on behalf of the party.
But if that is the case, how come its deputy President, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin was not aware of it? Does UMNO party constitution allow its president to have a secret trust account on behalf of the party?
The discussion on political funding came amid claims that RM2.6 billion was deposited into the prime minister's personal bank accounts. As at now, Najib did not deny its existence. Instead, Abdul Rahman said this:
“If you have special preference for a political party and believe in their struggle, you can help them achieve their goals by donating your money and/or assets. Truth be told, you can donate any amount you like: RM10, RM1,000 or even a million – or a billion ringgit for that matter – if you have that kind of amount to spare.”
He is right in saying everyone can donate any sum of money to the politicians he/she likes. However, if RM2.6 billion in Najib’s private account is purely because of his political struggle and belief, then I must congratulate Najib as he is ready to contest as the president of USA.
For 2012 presidential race, Barack Obama raised USD 715,677,692 while Mitt Romney raised USD 446,135,997 for their campaign. These monies were raised over a period of time and from many different sources and avenues. The single biggest contribution for Obama and Mitt Romney were USD 1,350,139 from University of California and USD 1,045,454 from Goldman Sachs. However, these organizations themselves did not donate, rather the money came from the organizations’ Political Action Committees, their individual members or employees or owners, and those individuals’ immediate families.[1]
Najib, being a Prime Minister of a developing country, however, managed to raise USD 681 million from Tanore Finance, a British Virgin Islands-based company, and RM42 million from SRC International Sdn. Bhd., an energy company that originally was controlled by 1MDB but was transferred to the Finance Ministry in 2012.
US President, always being labeled as the most powerful and influential person in the world, also cannot do the magic like Najib, so how can MACC possibly believe the explanation that USD 681 million from Tanore Finance was merely political donation and nothing else?
MACC can continue to fool or be fooled, but all right-minded Malaysians wont.
