Inspector-general of police (IGP) Khalid Abu Bakar said police will call in Lembah Pantai MP Nurul Izzah to be probed under Section 124 of the Penal Code and the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act 2012 (Sosma).
According to Bernama, this is over the PKR vice president having met with Jacel Kiram, the daughter of Sulu militant.
Khalid said she will be called in next week, adding despite her apology, her actions could pose as a security threat to the country.
BN leaders have been attacking Nurul Izzah incessantly over the incident, which she said yesterday she now regrets.
