Former MIC treasurer-general R Ramanan said today he will sue party president Dr S Subramaniam for "illegally sacking" him from MIC.
"It is an illegal sacking. I'm going to sue him in my personal capacity," Ramanan told a press conference in Kuala Lumpur.
In the letter he received today, he was informed that the CWC has sacked him from the party.
Ramanan argued that the CWC is incomplete, according to the party constitution, and as such it does not have the power to sack anyone from the party.
