That being the case, then one could argue that why just stop at covering with long sleeves and long pants? Why stop at looser clothing?
One should argue for banning of make-up and even hiring more male stewards rather than female stewardesses.
After all, the purpose of cabin crew is to serve such as serving drinks, lugging luggage, etc, of which the male species is more than capable of doing.
Bad Feng Shui: Yes, why not just hire male flight attendants? In fact, if having women around is so problematic, why not ban all female staff. That should make the pious people happy.
TehTarik: Will the airline allow passengers who are not dressed according to syariah law to board the aircraft? Also will passengers be allowed to carry non-halal stuff like alcohol on board?
Will passengers be segregated according to their gender, particularly those who are unmarried or travelling without their spouses?
Can female crew members serve male passengers and vice versa? I hope that the airline can clarify the issue, especially for non-Muslim passengers.
P Dev Anand Pillai: From what we see and gather, Islam in this land of ours seems to be only concerned with dress code, submissiveness and obedience, but it doesn't seem to be the least bothered about corruption, abuse of power, cheating, discrimination, unfair practices, racialism, etc.

What about the person who has all these fantasies in the first place? It takes two hands to clap. Adopting a policy such as this will not help anyone to be a better Muslim. This kind of siege mentality belongs to the medieval time.
Living in the modern world also means every individual needs to make the necessary adjustments in their outlook on life.

Islam is much more than covering the aurat. Islam promotes higher values.
