KOTA KINABALU - Police have arrested a teenage girl who sent the body of a 17-year-old boy to Lahad Datu hospital at 2am today.
Sabah Criminal Investigation Department Chief Datuk Salehuddin Abdul Rahman said the teenager, also 17, was nabbed not long after she sent the victim to the hospital. “Based on our investigations, the boy died due to a stabbing wound to his stomach and police have found the knife believed to have been used to stab the victim.
“It is believed the duo had a fight which led to the death,” he said after the handing over ceremony of Tawau Burs Point guard post from National Security Council to police here.
The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder. - NST
