The man, from the Woohoo street artist group, was believed to be about to enter trains to spray his art when arrested at 4.30am.

KUALA LUMPUR: A Dutch graffiti artist was arrested for breaking into and trying to vandalise trains at the Chan Sow Lin Light Rail Transit (LRT) station early yesterday.
Prasarana Malaysia Berhad (Prasarana) spokesperson Lim Jin Aun said the 34-year-old man was detained by its auxiliary police unit at around 4.30am after attempting to climb over a fence under a viaduct, near Pudu police station.
“The man was taken to Pudu station for further action and admitted he was from the Woohoo street artist group,” he said in a statement here today.
He said also seized were various equipment used for graffiti art such as seven canisters of paint, a pair of gloves and four keys similar to keys for train doors.
Lim said Prasarana was deeply frustrated with the irresponsible act because not only additional cost was incurred to clean up the train, but the number of trains in operation had to be reduced for a certain period of time.
“A job well done to the auxiliary police unit for acting fast. Their actions had prevented more trains from being vandalised and sent for cleaning up works,” he said.
