DEMONSTRATORS PROTEST AT DIVORCE PROCEEDINGS OF FORMER DPP OVER AFFAIR SCANDAL INVOLVING MUHYIDDIN

Nika-MY

(Malaysian Digest) – Today about 100 protesters from non-governmental organisation (NGO) Jaringan Melayu Malaysia (JMM) gathered in front of the Jalan Duta Court Complex for a public demonstration and shouted ‘Muhyiddin Penipu’ (Muhyiddin is a liar).
They also demanded the former deputy prime minister to explain about his alleged affair with a businesswoman.
The protesters were gathering in front of the court this morning during former public prosecutor Stanley Clement Augustin and his wife Nika Gee Siew Yee’s divorce proceedings.
In his divorce filing last year, Augustin claimed Gee had an affair with a politician who gave her monetary aid and other material benefits.
Blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin (RPK) claimed the said politician is Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin. Muhyiddin, however, had denied the claim and called it slanderous and unfounded.
JMM led by secretary-general Hamdan Mohd Salleh and controversial Umno figure Ali Tinju had gathered in front of the complex at 8 in morning clad in red t-shirts carrying banners with the slogans ‘Muhyiddin is a liar’ and ‘Do right and fear no man’ demanding Muhyiddin to come clean at the ‘Nothing To Hide 2.0’ forum by JMM.
RPK claimed in his blog malaysia-today.net that Muhyiddin offered Gee RM50 million to cover up the controversy of which she will receive RM20 million if she can get Stanley to withdraw the case and another RM30 million if she can get him to retract the Statutory Declaration.
Augustin and Gee were married for seven years since April 24, 2007 and Augustin filed for divorce on December 2014.
“Nika Gee then went to meet Stanley’s lawyer, Kumar, and offered to drop her counter-claim against Stanley if he agrees to withdraw the case plus retract the Statutory Declaration.
“The three things that Nika Gee originally wanted, for her to agree to the divorce, are: (1) the house (that Stanley’s recently deceased mother was staying in), (2) a huge monthly maintenance, and (3) legal costs.
“If Stanley can agree to withdraw the divorce case plus retract the Statutory Declaration then she will also agree to waive those three claims,” RPK wrote.
The blogger further highlighted the urgency with which Muhyiddin needs to cover up this brewing personal scandal at all costs due to his impending leadership role as the president of Mahathir’s Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia.
