Former PAS vice-president Husam Musa is expected to announce the political party he will be joining at a dinner function tomorrow.
The Salor state assemblyperson was sacked from PAS in May for his critical statements against the party's conservative leadership.
Taking to Facebook, Husam said he will be putting on a "new jersey" tomorrow.
Husam said he waited some for months but there has been no indication that his sacking would be reviewed or that he would be readmitted into PAS.
"My explanation letter to the PAS president does not seem to have been of any use," he said.
Husam noted that the state of the country appears to have become more critical but going it alone in his struggle was not an option.
"I have decided that Islam's struggle does not belong to a single party (PAS).
Tomorrow, at Cyberjaya, as a dinner guest of an organisation, I will end the waiting and announce the new party of my choice," he said.
The dinner function is expected to be attended by several Parti Amanah Negara, a splinter party of PAS. -Mkini
