MCA Wanita chief Heng Seai Kie said Sungai Besar Umno chief Jamal Md Yunos deserved the injury sustained during a scuffle on Sunday.
Jamal had been advocating violence against his opponents for a long time and finally got his comeuppance, she said in a statement today.
"It is amusing to see someone like Jamal, who calls for 'war and bloodbath' all the time, finally been punched on the nose.
"What goes around comes around and we can only say: serves him right!" added Heng (photo).
She said the police should also take Jamal's threat to cincang (dice) his assailant, as ignoring it may embolden his supporters to do more harm.
As an Umno leader, Jamal had violated the BN spirit which advocated peace, harmony and unity, said Heng.
"He is acting like the opposition or any pro-opposition group who are doing nothing constructive but instead create chaos and tarnish the BN's image and the country," she added.
Heng said instead of helping, Jamal was drawing attention to and creating public sympathy towards "helpless women" such as Bersih chairperson Maria Chin Abdullah and PKR Wanita head Zuraida Kamaruddin.
"MCA Wanita would like to urge Jamal to stop intimidating people, especially women. We have had enough of his show of 'manly arrogance' and it is time for him to learn his lesson," said Heng.
On Sunday, Jamal and his red-shirts had followed Zuraida and her followers in Ampang while they were out promoting the Bersih 5 rally.
At one point, Jamal and his supporters encountered the police and a scuffle ensued. Jamal then made contradictory claims on the identity of the assailant.- Mkini
