'Chicken s***! Pondan!' DAP MP opens fire in the House

A DAP lawmaker launched a vulgar diatribe after Annuar Musa (BN-Ketereh) took aim at Lim Kit Siang's (DAP-Gelang Patah) protracted political career.
Lim Lip Eng (DAP-Segambut) shouted, "Pengecut! (coward) Ayam! (Chicken) Chicken s***!" when Annuar refused to let Kit Siang interject.
In the ensuing chaos, Lip Eng at one point shouted "separuh jantan" (half a man) and "eh pondan diam la!" (shut up queer).
The Parliament TV screen did not show who Lip Eng was hurling abuses at, but then showed Annuar still standing and shouting back at opposition lawmakers.
The ruckus began when the Umno information chief cynically congratulated Kit Siang, saying the latter had surpassed the likes of former Filipino leader Ferdinand Marcos and Zimbabwe's Robert Mugabe.
"Gelang Patah has been around for 50 years with his political rhetoric. I wish to congratulate him," Annuar said.
When he refused to let Kit Siang interject, the DAP stalwart retorted that one must be brave when making accusation, and not be a coward.
This is when Lip Eng joined the fray.
This went on for a few minutes, and when it settled down, Annuar pointed out that BN lawmakers gave Kit Siang "a chance and respect" by not interjecting in the latter's speech earlier.
He then took aim at the Gelang Patah MP, saying former premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad had once called him racist.
This sparked another confrontation, when Teo Kok Seong (DAP-Rasah) demanded the word "racist" be retracted.
Annuar however received back up this time, from Othman Abdul (BN-Pendang) and Che Mohamad Zulkifly Jusoh (BN-Setiu).
"Mahathir said that (not Annuar), eh stupid!... Rasah is stupid," Othman said.
Annuar later implied that Kit Siang was also anti-Muslim.
"You don't support Islamic affairs. Whether to use the term anti-Islam (to describe you) or not, our PAS friends would know better.
"Your opposition to Marang (PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang) is a sign that you don't respect Islam," the Ketereh MP said.
He was referring to Hadi's move to amend the Syariah Courts (Criminal Jurisdiction) Act, better known as Act 355.
Deputy Speaker Ronald Kiandee finally asserted his authority when Jimmy Wong (DAP-Kota Kinabalu) interjected to Annuar's anti-Islam accusations.

"Sit down. If you want to interject you have to follow the House rules.
"When Gelang Patah spoke no one disturbed him, so ask for permission (when you interject)," Kiandee said.
Things settled down after this, as Annuar moved on to other matters.
Among others, he cited past Japanese investments in Malaysia during the Mahathir-era as proof that getting foreign investments does not equal to selling out the country.
This is in response to Mahathir's accusations that Putrajaya was selling the nation to China in exchange for investments and financial aid.- Mkini
