MALAY TSUNAMI BLOWS STRONG FOR MUHYIDDIN: THOUSANDS PACK JOHOR BERSATU’S RALLY IN PAGOH TO ANNOUNCE LIST OF CANDIDATES

Johor Bersatu’s ceramah to announce its candidates for the 14th general election(GE14) in a small village in Panchor, Pagoh, pulled a crowd of more than 4,000 people.

Several Harapan leaders, however, claimed that the crowd numbered more than 10,000.

Among the key attraction at the ceramah were Bersatu chairperson Dr Mahathir Mohamad, its president Muhyiddin Yasin, Amanah president Mohamad Sabu, PKR vice-presidents Nurul Izzah Anwar and Rafizi Ramli, DAP vice-chairperson M Kulasegaran and Johor DAP chief Liew Chin Tong.

Prior to announcing the candidates, a video on Muhyiddin’s contribution to Pagoh was also played at the event and it received applause from the audience.

Flyers, denouncing Umno leaders such as Nazri Abdul Aziz, Abdul Rahman Dahlan, and Puad Zarkashi as lackeys of Umno president Najib Abdul Razak were also distributed to the crowd.

Johor Bersatu will contest 10 parliamentary seats and 18 state seats in Johor in GE14.

Muhyiddin to defend Pagoh, to also contest Gambir state seat

MUAR: Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin will be defending his Pagoh parliamentary seat and also contest in the Gambir state seat in Johor in the 14th general election,

This was announced by PPBM chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad at a political rally here tonight.

Dr Mahathir also announced that PBBM will be contesting 10 parliamentary and 18 state seats in Johor.

Among its candidates are PPBM secretary Datuk Osman Sapian who wil be standing in the Kempas state seat while for parliamentary seats they include Datuk Dr Shahrudin Mat Salleh (SRI GADING), Dr Mazlee Malek (SIMPANG RENGGAM) and Karmaine Sardini (PONTIAN).
