It is very unbecoming of a young Malaysian Minister to degrade and to"insult" Malaysians who had shown their frustration by opposing the introduction of Khat or Jawi writing by calling them "bodoh sombong"(foolishly arrogant).
The problem was actually created by Bersatu leader and Education Minister Maszlee Malik who wanted to introduce the "khat' or now termed "Jawi" script writing to the Standard 4 Bahasa Melayu lesson WITHOUT CONSULTING THE STAKEHOLDERS.
Many have questioned the reason to 'bulldozing this lesson in the Standard 4 Bahasa Melayu lesson but until today no real or worthwhile answers have been sought.
Sekolah Kebangsaan has almost 9 to 12 periods a week of Islamic lessons and most fear that if something fruitful is not done immediately, the future generation will face great hardship.
If it was the introduction of Computer Coding to student, surely no want would have protested.
Syed Saddiq has to apologise to the Malaysians for his unwarranted name-calling (bodoh sombong) on Malaysians who had done it in protest.
A sensible situation would have been if Syed Saddiq had a conversation with these unhappy citizens while hearing their views why they oppose the introduction of Khat" or "Jawi" writing in the Standard 4 Bahasa Melayu lesson.
