Shortage of question papers delays SPM Chemistry paper

KUALA LUMPUR: The delay experienced by the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia candidates in sitting for the Chemistry Paper 3 (Paper Code 4541/3) this evening was due to a technical problem as the examination centres were short of question papers.

The education ministry, in a statement, said the problem was resolved by following the standard operating procedures established by the Examination Board (LP).

LP also apologised for the delay to all the candidates who sat for the examination, which was scheduled to begin at 2pm and end at 3.30pm today.

The Examination Board expressed deep regret over the problem and said it understood the difficulties faced by the candidates and their parents.

In a statement, LP said it would give serious attention to the case to ensure it does not recur. - FMT
