Do you know that Mahathir approved the oil royalty payments to Terengganu and Kelantan? But then Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng is trying to block the payments. He is dragging his feet and refuses to release the payments to Terengganu and Kelantan. And then he mocks Terengganu and Kelantan for being pokai and for not having any money whereas it is the Ministry of Finance that is holding back the money it owes the two states.
THE CORRIDORS OF POWER
Raja Petra Kamarudin
When Anwar Ibrahim announced that PAS and/or its president, Abdul Hadi Awang, received a RM90 million bribe from Najib Tun Razak, and that he had the evidence to prove the allegation, Anwar basically closed all doors and burned his bridge with PAS.
The RM90 million allegation was an extremely sore point. It was first raised by Sarawak Report, who said they got this information from Ambiga Sreenevasan, who in turn said Husam Musa told her about it. Husam then confirmed he had seen the RM90 million cheque with his own eyes (yes, one cheque for an amount of RM90 million).
Hadi then sued Clare Rewcastle Brown and when the case was settled out of court they mocked Hadi and said the out-of-court settlement was proof that he and PAS are guilty of receiving RM90 million from Najib.
The fact that 90% of libel and slander cases are eventually settled out of court was never mentioned. Only the Hadi-Brown case was raised and cited as the evidence that Hadi did, in fact, receive RM90 million from Najib.
Anwar ‘confirmed’ that Najib paid Hadi-PAS RM90 million, as Sarawak Report alleged
To add insult to injury, they said the RM90 million was money stolen from 1MDB and not only did Hadi receive the money but many of the PAS leaders benefitted as well. And when Anwar stood up on stage and announced that the allegation is true and that he had the evidence to prove it, that more or less sealed his fate and dashed any hopes of him becoming PM8 in May this year, three months from now.
The golden rule in politics is never close the door or burn your bridges (especially before you can cross that bridge). You never know when you may need to do a deal with those who used to be your adversaries but who now you need as your allies. Keep your friends close and your enemies even closer. One day kawan may become lawan and lawan may become kawan.
So now PAS is going to sponsor a vote of confidence (Undi Percaya) in Parliament for Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad to complete his term as Malaysia’s Seventh Prime Minister or PM7. Unless God intervenes, it looks like Anwar will not be taking over as PM8 in three months’ time after all. Is this not a case of loose lips, sinks ships?
PAS supports Mahathir to complete his full term as PM7
Menang sorak, kampung tergadai, as the Malays would say. What did the allegation of the RM90 million bribe achieve? PAS still controls Terengganu and Kelantan — and with Muafakat Nasional, PAS-Umno combined owns 100% of the 99 state and parliament seats in Terengganu and Kelantan.
Yes, at the height of Pakatan Harapan’s popularity in May 2018, what is now called Muafakat Nasional sapu 100% of the 99 state and parliament seats in Terengganu and Kelantan. Do you think now Pakatan Harapan can win a single seat in Terengganu and Kelantan?
What is PAS up to? Why are they proposing a vote of confidence in Parliament for Mahathir to complete his full term as PM7? Simple! It is to block DAP and their allies such as Anwar Ibrahim from becoming stronger. People such as Lim Kit Siang and Lim Guan Eng are slandering PAS non-stop and are condemning Islam, the Sharia, Jawi, etc. And for that they must pay.
There is such a thing called consequences. Everything you do has consequences. And now DAP and their gang are suffering the consequences.
PAS believes that having Anwar as PM means giving more power to DAP
Do you know that Mahathir approved the oil royalty payments to Terengganu and Kelantan? But then Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng is trying to block the payments. He is dragging his feet and refuses to release the payments to Terengganu and Kelantan. And then he mocks Terengganu and Kelantan for being pokai and for not having any money whereas it is the Ministry of Finance that is holding back the money it owes the two states.
Guan Eng and DAP are evil. Petronas earns its money from Terengganu, Kelantan, Sabah and Sarawak (around 50% each from the East Coast of West Malaysia and from East Malaysia). Then they take RM30 billion from Petronas to pay the GST refunds for factories in the ‘Chinese’ states that Pakatan Harapan control.
Yes, money from the Bumiputera states which Pakatan Harapan do not control is being syphoned to the non-Bumiputera states which Pakatan Harapan control. And that is why PAS supports Mahathir to stay on as Prime Minister. If Mahathir is ousted habislah Terengganu, Kelantan, Sabah and Sarawak.
Sekarang faham tak?
