PETALING JAYA: A Selangor assemblyman from Parti Amanah Negara has remained coy over talk that he had quit the party to join PKR.
"At the moment, I have no comments yet," said Meru assemblyman Mohd Fakhrulrazi Mohd Mokhtar when contacted on Sunday (Nov 15).
The party leadership of the state PKR and Amanah were also tight-lipped when asked about the matter.
Fakhrulrazi's move to join PKR from Amanah, if true, would not affect the position of the state Pakatan Harapan government.
Amanah won nine seats in the Selangor legislative assembly in the 2018 general election.
A state PKR leader was quoted in a vernacular newspaper as saying that Fakhrulrazi had applied to join PKR but the matter had yet to be discussed by the party.
Before joining Amanah in late 2015, Fakhrulrazi was the PAS Youth treasurer. - Star
