SEREMBAN: Children living in other states will be allowed to return to their hometowns to take their aged or sick parents or grandparents for their Covid-19 vaccination, says Khairy Jamaluddin (pic).
“If the son is working in Kuala Lumpur and wants to return to Rembau to take his old or sick father, mother or other dependents such as his grandparents for their vaccination appointment, he will be allowed to travel," said Khairy.
The Science, Technology and Innovation Minister said they would only have to show proof of their parents’ appointments to get the clearance to travel inter-state.
“He will only have to show proof of the appointment and he will be given permission to go, ” he added when speaking to reporters after visiting the Seremban City Council Hall Vaccine Dispensing Centre.
Khairy said that the National Security Council decided to allow this during a meeting on Wednesday (April 14). - Star
