PAS is considering using a new logo in the next general election.
However, party president Abdul Hadi Awang said the matter is still under discussion.
"We are thinking of getting a new symbol, and the party is discussing making one that will be suitable.
"We will not be using Perikatan Nasional’s (PN) logo, nor (will we use) PN and PAS flags," he told reporters in Marang, Terengganu earlier today.
Yesterday, PAS Syura council secretary Nik Muhammad Zawawi Salleh said the party had not yet decided on whether to use the PAS logo or PN's.
Several days ago, news reports suggested that PAS was planning to use its own logo in states where it has control, while PN's logo in others.
Two weeks ago, PAS spiritual leader Hashim Jasin showed a conflicting view with Hadi on the matter, where he wanted to use the party’s moon logo while Hadi reportedly wanted to use PN’s. - Mkini
