PAS, Perikatan Nasional (PN) and BN will have to return to the negotiation table if they want to recapture Selangor in the upcoming general election, said Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man.
The PAS deputy president pointed out that they should talk about avoiding clashes in 27 seats that will be contested in the polls.
"There are a few matters to be discussed. For instance, in terms of wresting back Selangor, PAS has to sit down and talk with PN and BN.
"The same goes with 27 seats where there will be clashes; it depends… PAS is ready for discussions on it," he told a press conference in Alor Setar, after officiating the PAS Youth muktamar today.
Tuan Ibrahim said both coalitions will experience losses should there be clashes in contested seats.
On Aug 12, PAS central committee member Mohd Zuhdi Marzuki said that the party should find ways to establish Muafakat Nasional seats with Umno and BN to avoid this, which could give an advantage to Pakatan Harapan. - Mkini
