4 friends go missing after entering forest to collect produce

 Four men are feared missing after they entered a forest in Tamaco, Tungku, near here last Thursday to collect forest produce.

According to initial information, Fendery Ani, 37, had gone to the forest with three friends at about 4pm but have not been heard of as of this afternoon.

Lahad Datu fire and rescue station chief Sumsoa Rashid said a search and rescue team had been deployed to locate the men, but “all attempts to reach them have failed”.

He said they were still working to establish the identities of the other men. - FMT
