Hilir Perak police chief Bakri Zainal Abidin says two were discharged today and one each on Wednesday and Thursday.

Hilir Perak police chief Bakri Zainal Abidin said that Mazlan Mat, 50, and Izwan Ishak, 39, were discharged today after 18 days of treatment at Teluk Intan Hospital.
He added that Haslizal Ali, 44, was discharged on Thursday, while Syed Isfan Syed Mohammad, 32, who was receiving treatment in the intensive care unit of Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital in Ipoh, was discharged on Wednesday.
“With this development, all nine injured officers have now been discharged and are currently on medical leave as they recover,” Sinar Harian reported him saying.
The five who were discharged earlier are Nizam Tarmizi, 38; Aniq Taufiq Rozi, 26; Harrisul Ikhsan Mahabudin, 39; Zulnaidi Zulkifli, 34; and Parih Ali, 44.
The crash occurred when a lorry carrying gravel collided with the FRU truck transporting 18 personnel at Jalan Sungai Manik, Ipoh.
Eight were killed at the scene, while another died while receiving treatment at Teluk Intan Hospital. Those who died were S Perumal, 44; Roslan Abdul Rahim, 46; Pozli Jaudin, 41; Nurit Pandak, 34; Amiruddin Zabri, 38; Hilmi Azlan, 38; Akmal Muhamad, 35; Damarrulan Abdul Latif, 33; and Akmal Wafi Annuar, 28.
The driver of the lorry has claimed trial to nine charges of causing death by reckless driving. - FMT
