Police block access to Kg Sg Baru as defiant residents evicted

 

Police have blocked access to parts of Kampung Sungai Baru, Kuala Lumpur, to facilitate the eviction of residents refusing to move out.

No one is allowed in or out unless they have a special pass, with police aiming to prevent provocations and unwanted incidents.

The media, which has converged on the Malay enclave, has similarly been denied access.
