KUALA LUMPUR: Raja Muda Selangor Tengku Amir Shah Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah will marry Afzaa Fadini Abdul Aziz at Masjid Istana Diraja, Istana Alam Shah, in Klang on Oct 2.

The reception and royal dinner will be held at Balairung Seri and Balai Santapan Diraja, Istana Alam Shah, on Oct 22.

The announcement was shared on the Selangor Royal Office's Facebook page yesterday.

The Selangor Islamic Religious Department will organise a yasin recital and doa selamat ceremony at all mosques statewide on Thursday.

On the same day, Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah and Tengku Amir Shah will attend a doa selamat ceremony at Masjid Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah in Shah Alam.

Tengku Amir Shah, 34, is the youngest child and only son of Sultan Sharafuddin. He was born on Dec 12, 1990, in San Francisco.

He was proclaimed Raja Muda of Selangor on May 3, 2002, when he was 11, and was formally installed in October 2016. - NST
