KOTA BHARU: A female trainee doctor was found dead at a dormitory of the Sultan Ismail Petra Hospital in Kuala Krai yesterday.
Kuala Krai police chief Mazlan Mamat said they received information about the death at about 9.55am before a police team was dispatched to investigate.
“Investigations at the location found that the victim was a female trainee doctor, aged 29. She was found dead in the bathroom of the dormitory.
“Preliminary investigations at the location found no criminal elements,” he said in a statement today, adding that the body was taken to the hospital’s forensics unit for an autopsy.
He said the case has been classified as sudden death, urging those with information about the incident to contact the Kuala Krai police station at 09-9666222. - FMT
