Sources say the funds are from accounts belonging to four individuals and four companies.

Sources said the investigation, carried out by the Selangor MACC since March 9, has frozen two unit trust accounts worth about RM2.6 million, alongside several company and individual savings accounts totalling about RM1 million.
At the same time, the MACC investigation is focusing on allegations of abuse of power and fraud, the sources said.
Yesterday, a company director and trustee of a 3.23ha plot of land in a plantation in Hulu Selangor was remanded for five days in connection with the case.
According to the sources, statements have been recorded from 24 individuals, with MACC still tracking down other witnesses.
Selangor MACC director Azwan Ramli confirmed the matter and said the case is being investigated under Section 16(a)(A)) of the MACC Act 2009 for soliciting, receiving, or agreeing to accept gratification. - FMT
