KUALA LUMPUR: A routine hike turned into a viral moment after a fireman slipped, not because of the trail, but because he was momentarily distracted by a fellow hiker walking uphill.
In a video shared on TikTok by user @jayrellllllll, a fireman was descending a trail when a female hiker ascending caught his eye.
Instead of watching the uneven terrain underfoot, he got momentarily distracted.
In a split second, he lost his footing and slipped, but quickly regained his balance.
Thankfully, no one was hurt and both hikers continued on their way, sharing a brief laugh over the unexpected encounter.
The moment, captured on video by his colleague, quickly went viral online. TikTok users reacted with amusement, joking that even heroes can be distracted when the right person crosses their path.
