National petroleum company Petronas has reminded Youth and Sports Minister Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman's communications team not to use mobile phones near petrol pumps.
This came after the Twitter handle @teamsaddiq posted a photo of Syed Saddiq refuelling a car at a Petronas fuel station, on the way to Cameron Highlands.
“Thank you for stopping over at a Petronas station!
“However, safety remains a priority. Please don’t use phones near petrol pumps,” the company said through its Twitter account today.

However, it is unclear whether the said photo was taken using a mobile phone, or a camera.
Earlier today, @teamsaddiq had tweeted the picture, captioned, “Can the minister claim petrol expenses if he drives himself?
“Going to Cameron (Highlands) as Harapan youth chief without government machinery.”
