Maybank has issued a statement on its official social media accounts to inform customers that it’s currently facing intermittent service disruption.
#mbbalert Dear customers, there is currently an intermittent service interruption affecting some of our cards and electronic banking services. Please bear with us as we are in the midst of rectifying the issue. We apologise for the inconvenience caused & thanks for your patience.
Many customers too have posted on Twitter that they are having issues with sending money, for instance, via Instant Transfer, and even receiving Transaction Authorisation Code (TAC).
In a reply on Twitter, Maybank has suggested that customers who want to withdraw cash do it via its ATM machines.
Hi, we are sorry to hear that. Please be informed that we are currently experiencing unexpected intermittent for IBFT (Instant) via M2U, TAC (all Telco's), Reload & MEPS. We would suggest you to perform withdrawal via ATM. (1/2)
