Telekom Malaysia Bhd (TM) confirmed that one of its employees at TMpoint Kajang has tested positive for Covid-19 on Dec 13.
In a statement, the company said the employee is currently receiving treatment at a government hospital.
It added that the TMpoint Kajang outlet will be closed until Dec 27 for disinfection and sanitisation in accordance with guidelines set by the Ministry of Health (MOH).
A detailed contact tracing exercise to identify those who had close contact with the positive case is also being performed by MOH with the company’s Covid-19 Crisis Response Team (CRT).
MOH will reach out to those identified as close contacts for further advice and action.
There are over 180 TMpoint outlets nationwide. Customers can head to the Unifi support page to find a TMpoint outlet in their area. - Star
