Selangor Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari today announced the special financial assistance of half-month salary or a minimum of RM1,000 for state civil servants in conjunction with Aidilfitri, to be paid on May 19.
He said the special assistance would also be extended to state executive councillors, speaker, deputy speaker, state assemblymen, top management and members of the state government service with an estimated allocation of RM22.675 million.
Community leaders including chairpersons of the Village Community Management Council (MPKK), new villages’ liaison officers, Indian communities’ heads and women empowerment programme supervisors would also receive RM1,000.
Amiruddin said this at the Mahabbah Ramadan with state civil servants event in Shah Alam today.
Apart from that, he said the MPKK secretary and mosque officials including imam will receive RM500 through the corporate social responsibility programme of the state government subsidiaries.
As at April 15, the state government had recorded a revenue collection of RM853.31 million or 38.79 percent of the estimated revenue of RM2.20 billion for 2021, a decrease of 19.39 percent compared with the same period last year, he added.
