The government has prohibited open house gatherings and events for Hari Raya Aidilfitri throughout the country this year.
However, Defence Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob said visiting houses and graves for the occasion are allowed with conditions.
"Hari Raya visits in areas under the conditional movement control order (MCO) and recovery MCO will be allowed on the first to the third day of Hari Raya with strict conditions.
"For MCO areas, Hari Raya visits are allowed on the first day only and restricted to 15 visitors at a time," he told a press conference today.
No house visits are allowed for enhanced MCO areas, but people can celebrate with their own family members in the same house, he added.
Visiting graves permitted for those under conditional MCO and recovery MCO.
"No visiting of graves are allowed in MCO and enhanced MCO areas," Ismail said.
