Tan Sri IGP, Summons Discount Going Haywire. Please Pay Attention. Please Extend The Period Until 31 Dec 2021. More People Will Pay. Govt Will Benefit.

 Well it looks like the FOUR day summons discount is not helping people as much.

First of all the online payment website crashed early in the day (Thursday). We realised this at home and so did many others. Here is a Low Yat forum report about the systems crash caused by too many people trying to access it:

Then a friend of mine went to IPD Gombak to pay the summons. He was not successful. The line was too long and the counter closed at 4PM. Here is a picture and some text that came with it:

Ok today is Friday. Friday is sembahyang Jumaat. Most government offices (including the Police payment counters) most likely will close / wind down for Friday prayers.  That means Friday (today) may disappoint a lot of people who will again be standing in the long queues.  Tan Sri IGP please take note.

I was not aware that Saturday will be the DYMM Sultan's birthday. Happy Birthday Tuanku. It will be a public holiday in Selangor. So will the Police payment counters be closed as well? Again can the Tan sri IGP please clarify because if that is the case the public in Selangor will be missing another day to settle their summonses. 

And will Sunday (the last day) also be a half day? If the answer is yes, the people are going to get really upset.  Tan Sri IGP you better take note.

This is how the Barisan Nasional lost the elections in 2018. When the people got fed up that the government was not really looking out for the peoples' interests.

May I suggest that the Police extend this Diskaun Bayar Saman until December 31 2021? Apa susah sangat? 

All Balai Polis in Malaysia are already open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  

Ok I agree that the people do not expect to settle their summons at the Balai Polis at 3 am in the morning. 

But what is so wrong or what is so bad if the Police give the suffering public until 31 December 2021 to take advantage of this 80% discount  (err . . up to 80%) ?

Tan Sri IGP please listen : the more time you give people to take this 80% discount and the easier you make it for the public to pay their summons the more money the Police are going to collect for the government.
