PETALING JAYA: Commuters along the Kajang MRT line commuters have been left stranded after train services were disrupted during rush hour on Monday (Aug 22) evening.
Rapid KL (@AskRapidKL) tweeted that they were working to resolve the situation as of 6.15pm.
"We are in the midst of restoring train services and operations will return to normal shortly. Congestion is expected at most stations and movement control procedures will be in place at platforms," it said.
As of the time of writing, services have yet to be restored fully.
"Trains will not stop at the Semantan and Pusat Bandar Damansara stations while repair works are underway," it added in another tweet.
Rapid KL also apologised to all commuters for the inconvenience and warned travellers of congestion along the line.
Many commuters took to social media, sharing photos and videos of packed stations as commuters waited out the delay.
"Current situation @MRT PASAR SENI towards KAJANG," wrote Twitter user @nrjwznl.
"Peak hours and it's raining too. At MRT Semantan, heading towards Kajang, train not moving," @aniqahbaha added.
