KUALA LUMPUR: After Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Special Functions) Datuk Dr Abdul Latiff Ahmad rebutted his allegations today, PKR deputy president Rafizi Ramli said he would post more exposés on the littoral combat ship (LCS) scandal tomorrow.
This morning, Rafizi revealed that companies allegedly belonging to a woman were involved in the embezzlement involving the LCS.
Rafizi claimed that the woman is Dr Latiff's second wife.
He said they were two offshore-based companies, one registered in Malta and the other in Labuan.
In response, Dr Latiff in a statement denied the woman is his wife.
However, Rafizi, who is the former Pandan member of parliament, said Dr Latiff's denial was "very weak".
"I had detailed the names of the companies, the amount involved and the links to him."
He said he also included the specific paragraph in the internal investigation report which stated that the woman is Dr Latiff's wife.
Rafizi said Dr Latiff denied the woman is his wife by referring to a viral report that was based on a mistake by a netizen.
He added that he would post more evidence linking Dr Latiff to the woman tomorrow. - NST
