PETALING JAYA: The remains of former Selangor mentri besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim, who passed away at 11.08pm on Sunday (July 31), have been brought to the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah mosque in Shah Alam.
Selangor residents are taking the opportunity to pay their last respects to the late Khalid ahead of his burial.
Selangor Ruler Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah had decreed that Abdul Khalid will be laid to rest at the Shah Alam Royal Mausoleum.
Earlier, Abdul Khalid’s remains were taken to the Saidina Umar Al Khattab Mosque in Bukit Damansara for funeral prayers with family and close friends. - Star
