PUTRAJAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said he will let the facts speak for itself on the achievements made by the federal government under his leadership.
The Bera member of Parliament said he refused to "mendabik dada" (sing his own praises) and harp on the accomplishments of the current administration.
He nevertheless conceded that there are still more things that can be done to help and improve the wellbeing and welfare of the people in the country.
"There are many agendas which need to be implemented.
"There are many more people, irrespective if they are the poor, women as well as people with different abilities, who require our assistance," said Ismail Sabri at the launch of the day-long 'Keluarga Malaysia Symposium: Achievements and Aspirations' here today.
Present were Senior Works Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof and several other cabinet members.
Ismail Sabri added that a government will only become strong and effective with support from all quarters.
"Alhamdulillah (Thank God). Members of this administration have never disputed (over the contributions made) between them.
"We also recognise and never take lightly the contributions made by the civil servants," he said. - NST
