It is very crucial for PM Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to test his legitimacy that he has the majority support in Parliament tomorrow.
What ever the claims made, once PM Anwar secures the majority in Parliament, no one can question this decision.
Claims are made that the Memorandum of Understanding signed by the parties who support PM Anwar is illegal is another subject matter.
Once the vote is taken in Parliament tomorrow and once PM Anwar secures the majority, he is the legitimate Prime Minister of Malaysia.
For this purpose, PM Anwar needs Parliament to table this motion before any other matter to be discussed.
Looking at the situation, it looks like PM Anwar is expected to obtain a majority vote of confidence in Parliament tomorrow.
Once this is done, no MP or any group can question this legitimacy and PM Anwar's cabinet can carry-out their duties with legitimacy and in full confidence.
The statements like 'King appointed PM, back-door or side door PM' will never and should not arise. - Mohd. Kamal Abdullah
