COVID-19 | The Health Ministry reported 809 new Covid-19 cases yesterday.
Active infections stood at 17,972, down 32.4 percent compared to 14 days ago.
New cases according to states are as follows:

Sarawak (71)
Kedah (67)
Kuala Lumpur (59)
Penang (55)
Sabah (49)
Perak (39)
Malacca (36)
Negeri Sembilan (35)
Johor (30)
Kelantan (26)
Terengganu (19)
Putrajaya (18)
Pahang (16)
Perlis (11)
Labuan (3)
Another six deaths attributed to Covid-19 were reported yesterday, of which two were declared as "brought in dead".
Since the start of the pandemic in March 2020, a total of 36,769 deaths have been attributed to the disease.
There have been 89 reported Covid-19 deaths this month. For comparison, there were 209 last month and 101 in October.
There are 1,128 Covid-19 patients who are hospitalised of which 72 are in intensive care.
The highest number of admissions yesterday was recorded in Selangor (63) followed by Sabah (56) and Johor (38). - Mkini
