My Comments : 

(Firstly to the Editor of Free Malaysia Today, bro please tell your boys to mention the price of cement before and after the price increases. Then the people will be more knowledgeable.)

 

The builders association does not seem to understand business or economics. You cannot resolve this quickly. 

This problem has been caused over the past 50 years when the Dasar Ekonomi Zaman Mahazalim dan Mahafiraun started to interfere in the free market in Malaysia.

Cement became a controlled item. 

Import licenses were restricted and monopolies and oligopolies began to dominate the market. 

The import of cement is strictly controlled. 

To import cement you need a license. 

The question is WHY?

Now the builders association is complaining that the price of cement and concrete has increased by a total of 30% in March and November 2022.

They are also complaining about monopolies/oligopolies that control the cement prices.

Padan muka kau orang. Dulu bila Zaman Mahazalim dan Mahafiraun buat dasar ekonomi berlesen,  dasar ekonomi permit impot, dasar ekonomi berkuota, dasar ekonomi monopoli, dasar ekonomi oligopoli kau orang semua diam. Happy happy saja.

Sekarang bila harga simen sudah naik menggila kenalah kepada batang hidung sendiri. Baru kau orang nak menangis.

This problem was created by the Zaman Mahazalim and Mahafiraun economic policies. The question is will these same Mahazalim and Mahafiraun economic policies still be continued? That is the question).

I have a cadangan bodoh. The taukeh monopoli beras has agreed to pay RM60 Million to keep his rice import monopoly.

So why not ask the dominant cement players to also pay RM60 million or RM600 million and then they can keep their dominant position? 

But pay to whom? To the rice farmers? The builders associations? To the house buyers? To the shophouse buyers? The bridge builders? The tall-tall buildings occupants? Just kidding ok.   

By the way the rice import monopoly is still in place.

Cara menangani harga simen senang saja. Batalkan atau cancel-kan semua monopoli, oligopoli, import permit, lesen berkuota dsbnya bagi simen dan konkrit. 

Biar siapa saja yang mahu impot simen, ekspot simen, manufacture simen atau trading simen buat ikut kemampuan dan suka hati mereka. 

Bebaskan pasaran simen dan konkrit daripada Dasar Ekonomi Zaman Mahazalim dan Maha Firaun.

Seperti Nabi Musa seru kepada Firaun "Bebaskan-lah Bani Israil bersama kami".

Or in simple language : Let my people go free.

Begitu juga bebaskanlah rakyat negara kita Malaysia daripada pelbagai rantai, tali ikatan, belenggu dan gari monopoli, oligopoli, kuota, lesen, permit dan AP yang hanya menguntungkan sedikit orang kaya tetapi membebankan kebanyakan rakyat marhaen dengan harga barang yang tinggi.

Let my people go free.

Simen dan konkrit bukanlah industri yang perlukan teknoloji tinggi atau pun pelaburan dana yang besar. Pembuatan simen boleh diusahakan secara kecil atau sederhana.

Di negara maju (Amerika, China) cement manufacturing juga memberi peluang beratus pengusaha kecil dan pengusaha tempatan (SME industry) yang membuat atau manufacture simen jenama tempatan. 

Biasanya dengan dengan menggunakan mesin dan peralatan yang simple dan tidak perlukan dana yang sangat besar. Bahan asas membuat simen adalah batu, pasir dan beberapa bahan mentah lain yang mudah didapati di mana pun. 

It is no big deal to manufacture cement. Jika kerajaan menggalakkan pelbagai pengusaha tempatan (tak kira bangsa, agama, bahasa dsbnya) untuk menceburi cement manufacturing dan  memberi usahawan tempatan bantuan untuk memulakan industri pembuatan simen dengan jenama-jenama tempatan maka cement supply dalam negara kita akan bertambah. 

Bila supply bertambah maka dengan sendirinya harga simen dan konkrit akan lebih munasabah - lebih mencerminkan keadaan pasaran yang sebenarnya.

So what am I trying to say?

What I am trying to say is 'Let my people go free". Bebaskan lah kaum-ku.

Hapuskanlah segala Dasar Ekonomi Zaman Mahazalim Dan Zaman Mahafiraun yang telah melahirkan hantu syaitan Dracula monopoli dan oligopoli yang menghisap darah rakyat kita. 

Cukuplah dengan Dasar-Dasar Ekonomi Syaitan Zaman Mahazalim Dan Mahafiraun.

Get rid of that whole lot.

What happens if you do not get rid of the Dasar Ekonomi Mahazalim dan Mahafiraun? 

Apa yang akan berlaku jika Dasar Ekonomi Mahazalim dan Mahafiraun tidak dihapuskan?

What will happen? Ini jawapannya :

2018  Najib kalah. Di ganti Dr Mahathir

2020 Dr Mahathir di tong sampahkan di ganti TS Muhyiddin.

2021 TS Muhyiddin kena ouster, diganti Ismail Sabri.

2022 Ismail Sabri kena ouster, diganti  lagu Tamil

But has the problem been solved? No.

The people are still not happy.
