SO THE OLD MAHAZALIM AND MAHAFIRAUN POLICIES ARE GOING TO BE AROUND FOR A WHILE? OH WELL..

For the past couple of months my Internet connection has been really bad. Now every time it rains my connection gets cut off completely. I do not know who is the Minister in charge. Dont know if anything will be done about it. Lets see.

Yesterday the Bursa closed lower at 1466. 

The economic situation in the country is the same today as it was two weeks ago. The Bursa went up for a bit - on euphoria - but now it seems to be working its way back to the basement. 

Here is some news that I am not surprised about at all. Same old same old.

(OSTB : 'continued strong focus'? Continued from where? From the days of Mahazalim and Mahafiraun ?)

“Strong focus on the most vulnerable groups in society economically through the hardcore poverty eradication programme and so on” he said 

(OSTB : and so on? And on and on and on. Havent we heard all this before - over the past 50 years?)

most important thing is to make sure strong cohesion from top leadership all the way down to make sure that what is being planned is actually carried out properly.

(OSTB : Folks, can you hear that? That lion is laughing again.)

Meanwhile, on policy changes, ..it is still premature to say anything about policy but he will give more information in the weeks and months ahead.

OSTB : So there are going to be no policy changes. Not at least for the weeks and months ahead.

Ok something else remeh is bugging me. In Malay you can say Menteri Ekonomi but you cannot translate that directly into Minister Economy.  In English it is either Minister of Economic Affairs or Minister of 'the' Economy.  'Minister of Economy' is incorrect.

But the point is you have back-doored your way into office promising change, promising a new beginning, promising a better Malaysia, a greater society, the buffaloes in the mudholes will shower twice a day bla bla.

Why? Why did you promise all those things? 

Because for the past 50 years the country has been totally screwed up with the policies of the Mahafirauns and the Mahazalims. 

That was your selling point. That YOU will get rid of the Mahafiraun and Mahazalim policies.

EVEN BEFORE you back-doored yourself into office you should have had a complete list of policy changes and new policies that you must implement. For example here is one that needs immediate action :

 

But we found out yesterday that the rice monopoly gets to stay because that rice monopoly fellow has agreed to pay RM60 million (to who exactly?) and so he gets to keep the rice monopoly.  You mean he can make so much surplus cash from that rice monopoly? Banyak cantik. Why not lower the selling prices of rice all over the country?

But that is one policy from the days of Mahazalim and Mahafiraun that will remain in place. No change. 

Then there are the 'reverse reversals'. The Mahazalim fellows had INCREASED the special draws from eight a year to 22 a year. But you have now reversed it back to eight special draws a year - hoping to influence the Malay vote in Padang Serai and Tioman. 

Too late. That 16,000 vote victory margin for Perikatan Nasional in Padang Serai is a killer.    And in Tioman the pencuri and perompak won by a mere 500+ votes. The next round they will be completely wiped out.

I think this is what we are going to be seeing in the weeks and months ahead.

No change in policies.
