Here are three brief videos. You can fast forward through them, you will get the gist. These are very young women in China working rough and tough jobs (DDD jobs) in trucking and mechanics. Some of them own and drive huge 18 - 22 wheeler trucks while others fix the trucks as mechanics. Nan Meier (I am sure her name is pronounced more ethnically) owns her own truck and car repair business.
Making YouTube videos gives them an opportunity to make extra cash. Hence we get to see and learn about them as well.
These women are certainly not university graduates but they are savvy with technology, mechanics and running their businesses.
What is obvious and what makes these very young lasses boldly venture into trucking and truck repair is that their country and society is safe for women to venture into what was the domain of men alone. Their streets and roads are clean and safe, their people seem peaceful and going about their own business. Everyone seems busy and has something to do. You do not see any druggies, vagrants, drunks, street kids or gangs on the streets.
This is China today.
