Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow said the state legislative assembly will be dissolved on June 28, paving the way for elections.
Chow (above) told a press conference that he will present the matter to Penang Governor Ahmad Fuzi Abdul Razak shortly.
"We have decided that the date for the dissolution will be on June 28 and will meet the governor to propose the matter," he said.
According to a report by Buletin Mutiara, Chow was also asked about the latest regarding seat negotiations between Pakatan Harapan and BN component parties.
"This will be dealt with at the national level," he said.
